Q. How long will it  take for my Website to be built?

A. It takes approx 2-3 weeks from start to finish. However it is often sooner.

Q. How will you know what I want my Website to look like?

A. I will send you a questionnaire which will ask you extensive questions about the look and feel you are seeking for your site. You need to be as descriptive as possible when answering.

Q. Do I need any web based knowledge or experience?

A. No, There is a simple html text editor on your main page that you can change at anytime. It is as simple as using Microsoft Word.

Q. What is a SSL certificate?

A. The Secure Socket Layer protocol was created by Netscape to ensure secure transactions between web servers and browsers. The protocol uses a third party, a Certificate Authority (CA), to identify one end or both end of the transactions. This is used with the Shopping Cart.

Q. What do I have to do to my site before it is ready to go live on the internet?

A. The only thing you need to worry about is uploading your stock into the shopping cart. I will take care of the rest. Your website will be ready for you to upload stock into around week 2-3.

Q. Who will maintain my Website and keep it up to date?

A. You will be able to maintain & update your site yourself. However I can make changes or add info if you need further assistance.

Q. Are all of your Designs one of a kind?

A. Yes, all my Website Designs are designed for one client, one time only. However please note that Auction Logo's are sold a maximum of 15 times each before they are retired.

Q. How much will an osCommerce website cost?

A. All prices are quoted upon enquiry. Prices quoted reflect the Clients individual needs. Some price guidelines are listed here

Q. How much will it cost me each year to run my Website?

A. A fixed amount for hosting and domain are invoiced annually. The amount is charged according to the space you use and includes your domain, hosting renewal and SSL certificate.

Q. How do I pay for my website?

A. Part payment of 75% is required at time of booking. The remaining 25% will be invoiced once your site is live.

Q. Can I buy a Shopping Cart now and add a Forum & Gallery on later?

A. Yes, you can purchase just a stand alone shopping cart and add either the Forum, Gallery or both at a later date.

Q. Do you re-design pre-existing Websites?

A. In most cases Yes. However on the odd occasion we may not be able to assist the re-designing of a pre-existing store.

Q. What is a Topsites Website?

A. A Topsites Site is basically a ranking Directory. Store owners list their site to be ranked against other Websites on the list. You can also add an advertising package and charge clients to advertise their banners in a banner rotation program. These sites are NOT limited to Scrapbooking.
